My favorite tarte product is…. I’m torn between park ave princess bronzer and my sweet dreams lipstick/liquid sunshine gloss combo.
The soundtrack for my life would be the song… Vienna by Billy Joel. (It also happens to be one of my favorite cities.)
My perfect day would be… well, first of all, on my perfect day, time & space are not a factor. I think I would want to wake up to a perfect crisp fall day in NY, do the crossword, have a giant brunch with my husband, walk over the Brooklyn Bridge. Then we’d fly to Paris, where I would have a fragrance lab, and I would spend the afternoon creating perfumes and eating macaroons. After that, we’d meet up with our friends & family just outside Florence to play bocce on the lawn and have good wine, artichoke salad & homemade pastas & strawberries with mascarpone. Then the entire group would adjourn to Capri, where we would retire for the evening with board games, good movies, coffee, and copious amounts of limoncello and vin santo.
If I could be any movie/book/TV character, it would be… Harriet the Spy. And I’m talking about the book, not that sad excuse for an adaptation. I first read it in 1986 and have basically read it once a year since then—always good to brush up on the core values of your childhood. I think of Harriet every time I drink an egg cream.
